Symbi Hostels

It is mandatory for the student admitted to the residential program to stay in the campus hostel.

However, most of the institute of Symbiosis offers hostel facilities to the students admitted to non residential programs. Kindly note that hostel accommodation for these students is not guaranteed. It is only available against vacancies, wherein the decision of the Director/Principal of the institute is final and binding.

Hostel Facility at Vishwabhavan and Model Colony

Symbiosis Vishwabhavan Girls and Boys Hostel is located at Symbiosis Society Campus, Senapati Bapat Road, Pune. The capacity of the Vishwabhavan Boys Hostel is 110 and Vishwabhavan Girls hostel is 164.

The Vishwabhavan hostel facility is available to students who have applied to Symbiosis Law School, Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences, Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Symbiosis School of Economics and Symbiosis College of Nursing only.

Symbiosis has another girl’s hostel situated at Model Colony, next to Atur Centre, Gokhale Cross Road, Pune. This is one and half kilometer away from the Symbiosis Society Campus, Senapati Bapat Road, Pune. The capacity of this hostel is 132.

The Symbiosis Hotel Model Colony is available to students who have applied to English Language Teaching Institute of Symbiosis, Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research, Symbiosis Institute of Geo Informatics and Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce only.

Hostel Facility at Infotech Campus

Symbiosis has hostel situated at Symbiosis Infotech Campus at Hinjewadi. The Hostel has a total of 112 spacious and semi furnished rooms for girls and 112 spacious and semi furnished rooms for boys where 336 girls and 336 boys can be accommodated. Symbiosis Infotech Campus is a residential campus.

The Infotech Campus Hostel facility is available to students who have applied to Symbiosis Centre for Management & Human Resource Development, Symbiosis Institute of International Business and Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology only.

Hostel Facility at Lavale Campus

Symbiosis has residential campus at Symbiosis Knowledge Village located at Lavale. The Hostel has a total of 172 spacious, semi furnished rooms for girls as well as 240 spacious, semi furnished rooms for boys where 414 girls and 542 boys can be accommodated.

The Lavale Campus Hostel is a residential campus and available to students who have applied to Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management and Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication (Post Graduate).

Hostel Facility at Viman Nagar

Symbiosis has hostel at Viman Nagar Campus. The hostel has a total capacity of 375 girls and 40 boys. The Symbiosis Viman Nagar Hostel facility is available to students who have applied to Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies (Undergraduate), Symbiosis Institute of Design and Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication (Undergraduate) only.

Each room of a Symbiosis hostel is equipped with a bed, a mattress, a pillow, a table, a chair, a cupboard and a sof board. These rooms are also provided with an attached bathroom.

All Symbiosis campuses are “No Smoking” Campuses. Students shall not bring, take and/or drink any alcohol/intoxicating drink, drug or any similar thing of any kind whatsoever and /or smoke in the room and /or any part of the premises; the same shall apply to visitors also. In case of default, a strict disciplinary action, amounting to rustication from the hostel/institute , will be taken as per rules and code of conduct.

There is a strict code of conduct practiced at all Symbiosis Hostels. Students wishing to stay in any Symbiosis Hostel will have to abide by the code of conduct.
