Eligibility:
According to the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Profession (NCAHP) Council:
- Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10 +2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects.
- Lateral Entry to the candidates in second year (3rd semester) who have passed Diploma of Radiotherapy Technology (D.RT) from recognized university.
- He/she must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or must complete this age on or before 31 December of the year of admission to the first year of the Undergraduate Allied and Healthcare Course.
- A medical fitness certificate is mandatory, and must be endorsed by a Government Medical Officer.
Foreign students' admission process for Undergraduate (UG) programmes:
i. Foreign national students intending to study the UG programme in India shall have to take an equivalence certificate of eligibility from the respective State Allied and Healthcare Council.
ii. Admission of foreign national students to the UG programmes shall be based on merit, as determined by the University entrance examination.
iii. Verification of a valid visa and its duration for foreign national students shall be verified by the respective institution and the University before enrolment in the programme.
- The admission criteria shall be updated by the Commission from time to time.

- Hospitals & Cancer Centres – Working as Radiation Therapy Technologists in radiotherapy departments, assisting in treatment planning and delivery
- Advanced Oncology Centres – Handling sophisticated technologies such as Linear Accelerators (LINAC), brachytherapy units, and image-guided radiotherapy systems
- Diagnostic & Treatment Planning Units – Involved in dosimetry, Treatment Planning Systems (TPS), and quality assurance procedures
- Medical Equipment & Radiotherapy Industry – Opportunities in application training, clinical support, and technical services with healthcare technology companies
- Research & Development – Participation in clinical research, trials, and innovation in radiation therapy techniques
