Is Capitalism a Threat to Societal Development? Nordic Model Says Otherwise

Mayukh Sen is a postgraduate student pursuing M. Sc. Economics from Symbiosis School of Economics. In his article he gives insights on the coexistence of capitalistic ideology and societal development. As, humanity is much more sensitized to issues ranging from healthcare, education to happiness and climate change. There is an argument that clouds the judgement is the idea that capitalism as the determinant philosophy works parallel to societal development, benefiting businesses and multinational corporations. This is where the Nordic Model comes to the rescue of capitalism implying an argument which sets an example to the global world.
